Building "off-grid"

- Garage Door Framing -

New Year's Eve Eve Eve:  Like I said, I'm taking it slow and steady on any framing I do myself.  I have no desire to do something so wrong that correcting it at a later date will be prohibitively costly.  This is the framing for the garage door openings.  On the left (west) I'll have a two-car garage door (18' x 7'), and on the right (east) a 3' access door and a 12' x 7' single garage door.  The right side will be the shop half of the garage.  I'm considering (2) 9' x 7' garage doors on the left (west) instead of one big one because of the load bearing it may have to do.

Cost:  I already had the 2 x 6 lumber for the framing.  (2) 2 x 16 x 14' and (3) 2 x 16 x 20' header planks @ $6.18/foot - delivered.
