Rates for Reformatting

or Repair House Calls

ALL house calls (on-site visits for homes or businesses in the Greater Minneapolis/St. Paul area only) are billed at a rate of $75 per hour with a 2 hour minimum - billed in half hour increments in excess of the minimum.

Reformat:
Straight "no frills" reformatting comes with a guarantee that your PC will perform "as new" (see "terms" page).  A complete reformat/recovery of an original equipment PC system can be performed in the time minimum.  Additional PC's, PC systems with prior equipment upgrades or substitutions, special requests or configuration of extra periperhals (printers, scanners, modems, etc.) may take longer.

Repair:
Because of the varying configurations from PC to PC, as well as individual user changes that may have been made, all repair requests are done on a per hour basis (subject to house call minimum).  For the same reasons, only ballpark estimates may be given over the phone prior to visit, and no guarantees can be made (without full reformat).

Accepted Payment:
A cashier's check, money order or cash in the amount of the minimum payment is due upon house call arrival.  Personal or Business checks will be accepted for any work in excess of the minimum charge, subject to a $30 additional fee for returned checks.  Any new upgrade items requested prior to house call (i.e. modems, memory, hard drives, CD burners, etc.) will be paid by cashier's check, money order or cash - due upon arrival along with the minimum payment.
